For diseases like cancer, total fasting on juices like coconut water would help in radically curing the disease quickly. Partial fasting on fruits and vegetables can be resorted once considerable improvement is seen

Breaking a fast
A complete fast should be broken with consumption of vegetable or fruit juice. Food should not be taken immediately as real hunger should be allowed to emerge. Food should be consumed slowly as the stomach should not be overburdened by eating too much as it can negate the effects of fasting.
